I guess it depends on the area - there’s an area downtown here with lots of outdoor dining, and when the weather’s nice, we really enjoy it. Places set out water bowls for dogs (lots of people bring their out for a walk there), no smoking allowed, and the people watching can be fun… :)

If it's a piazza/courtyard area and it is sunny then it might be nice. But otherwise it feels like you are eating on the road.
