I can hear voices and music quite well. Since I like to do voices for my characters when playing D&D, I've often been frustrated that I could "speak" the voice I want to do in my head, but can't replicate it with my vocal chords for some reason.

Huh, somehow missed this... Well, using the vocal chords to recreate a voice in an actorly manner is yet a separate skill... I can do *that,* but a former gfriend called me "tone sterile" as far as reproducing music {per previous comment}... "God" endowed us lowly D&D characters w/ limited skillsets
