A while back there was talk that the fear of 3d printed guns might change a few things. I think they instead put restrictions on those dangerous printers.

Having to choose between the absolute right of gun nuts to shoot anything and the absolute right of corporations to make profits could really confuse this Supreme Court, but profit always wins in the end.

We generally have a 500 foot rule over homes, which drones are probably violating if they are being shot down. Also, the drones are probably being shot by shotguns using birdshot - a pretty legit thing on a farm. Paying the farmers might be the best solution (carrot, not stick)
