New: hackers have taken over a Stable Diffusion tool to then target users for AI "art theft." Looks like its harvesting credentials, which hackers are then using on accounts

What I don't get is, what 'accounts'? Is this something restrained to online AI image generator sites? Can't say I've ever used one, but do those allow extension installation or something? The logistics of it is just confusing to me.
