As she has said, Jan 6 investigations were underway in Garland’s DOJ. So when people suggest he should have called special counsel earlier they mean not for legal reasons but to politicize DOJ. Likewise revive Mueller report, against DOJ policy on previous AG decisions, in this case Barr.

You are also changing the subject. The subject is that she took a metaphor too literally. People pushing back on that are not obligated to take anything else into consideration, and this repeated insistence that we must doesn't make you or her look any better.
