I don’t necessarily begrudge them either. When done right. But when I did plaintiff’s work in MD/DC/VA, I was constantly lumped in with those drive by cases that made a mockery of the system. Especially when they settled w/the prop owner for fees & did not require fixes as part of the settlement.
