Come to think of it, 42 y ago was my last trip to Vegas. Sierra Club dumped me out of a trip in the Sierras (because I was ill, they abandoned me), so I drove down there for a couple of weeks.

I loved that book about the MIT kids. Now with the multiple decks in the shoes, I doubt it works any more. I think they stole a little from the opera house in Sydney.
