I'll be clear. Starmer is absolutely 100% correct to come down hard on unrealistic expectations about rejoining the EU. It is a 20 year project as a minimum. He will not allow his first term be blighted by numpties who refuse to face up to this immutable truth. Bravo to him.

Softly, softly is the approach required. SM alone would be a huge step, not politically achievable for 5 - 10 years. Third Labour term, maybe. Start with making it easier for musicians to tour between UK & EU. Allow kids to go to specific single EU countries for a few years. Take stock.
