The smartphone angle of this is such a house of cards - Samsung's AI, for instance, is only free for awhile, because it's really a series of interdependent cloud computing services, any of whom can pull out or start charging once the grace period is up.

yeah, I think that the smart phone revolution, in tandem with the zero interest rate lending era taught, the tech and investors some bad, bad habits about expecting exponential growth as the norm rather than an aberration
