The grossest part of all this is that it's apparently ok to rail against marginalized people, Muslim Americans, etc. for saying they can't vote for a person materially harming/killing them/people they love, but some bullshit medicalized ageist/ableist argument for why not deserves to be respected.

Like, a moral argument against supporting genocide and apartheid deserves scorn and ridicule, but diagnosing the President as a dementia sufferer because he didn't perform as you wanted in a debate should be embraced as urgent wisdom all of society should heed?
