On reflection, after a good night’s sleep, it seems to me that Biden’s most sensible course of action is to have a memo from the AG’s office find that carrying out his duties as Executive now requires he arrest and indefinitely imprison a Supreme Court Justice at the rate of one per week.

As Biden (noted? Fell into?) confirmed with his speech, this all so transparently hinges on the Court trusting Biden not to fuck with the boundaries of the ruling, and in full knowledge that Trump absolutely will. They’re really playing with and testing how far they can push that asymmetry

Or convene an Executive District Court to charge, prosecute, and if convicted detain individuals at his discretion to ensure the proper execution of the laws is the United States. Prospectively pardoning all court members and staff, of course.

Next time the should-we-fund-the-government shitshow restarts in congress, simply jail the holdouts for being threats to the Republic (but not to Democracy) and hold the vote. Just to pick one it's easy to imagine Trump actually doing.
