So like the common examples that people are most tied to using (stupid, dumb, crazy, insane, idiot, etc.). The language is bad and annoying, yes. But the larger issue to me is equating those things to being bad or wrong or a negative thing.

Most people will say that it’s different to call something dumb instead of calling a person dumb. Or that when they call someone dumb they don’t mean it in the same way as referring to someone with an intellectual and developmental disability. But that doesn’t sit right with me.
