Four-fifths of Dem voters want a ceasefire and to stop arming Israel. It is morally right, there are strong legal reasons (Foreign Assistance Act requires assistance to countries blocking US aid to stop, Leahy Act restricts weapons to human rights abusers), and also political/pragmatic.

So because of that you would let Trump be president? And spare me any rationalizations. Don't pretend for one minute Biden wouldn't pay a significant electoral price for suddenly changing positions. And also don't pretend Trump will be as bad or better for Gaza. This is the real world buddy. Welcome
