This is always where our increasing corporatization/privatization of universities was headed. They record your classes then use those recordings to give "virtual" classes the next year. TAs do the grading/interaction. No need to keep the adjunct or professor around.

This doesn't seem to be a story about AI taking a professor's job, but a story about a board appointed by a gerrymandered supermajority coming down on a non-tenured faculty member saying things they don't want people to hear, which might be worse.
