I think the Legion's much more appealing as an idealistic group of young heroes who hang out because they like to, and like to socialize, than it is when it feels like the paramilitary arm of the Science Police. It's one of the things that makes it feel like the Legion. They play D&D together!

This why I feel YHiL is such an underrated title. Hm. You know, I don't think we've heard your opinion on Superboy and the Ravers, which I always saw as a full on, 1960s style reboot of the Legion (as in Jay to Barry etc)
