Want to make sure we have our legal/medical ducks in a row as much as possible before I have surgery. Does anyone know who I should start with to talk about that stuff? My guess is the attorney who did our living wills.

An estate attorney is a good place to start. Depending on your state, they may have their own advance directive form online and the attorney should know that. Remember to register these forms with the hospital ahead of time.
