I definitely had more than one friend tell me in 2016 that as much as they loved Sanders and agreed with his policies, they were voting for Clinton because she was more “electable”

I have to admit that was me too. I just couldn't imagine someone like Sanders winning (which now, lol). But I like to think I, and many others, have learned from it instead of burying our heads in the sand like some have.

Shitty thing is my mom wanted Sanders, him literally not being on the ballot made her a Trump voter... and she stuck with Trump and GOP ever since. And I just found out yesterday that she at some point donated to his campaign. I don't think my mom has ever donated to anyone's campaign, I am livid.
