A little late for the summer solstice, but life is very hectic right now^^ An older piece I still have a big soft spot for hypericum perforatum - (St. John's wort) also known as the "solstice herb" since it blooms around the time of the summer solstice.

It later received the name St.Johns wort due to the red oil coming out the blossoms when pressed, looking like blood. According to folklore St.John was said to have been beheaded on the day of the Summer solstice & wherever drops of his blood landed St.Johns wort started growing.
