The actual students involved are upset and believe it was inappropriate. The excuse-making completely ignores them. These useful idiots will never understand or acknowledge power and how it impacts social interactions (ofc if someone in Green Party did this, they would be snarking all over the tl).

Unfortunately due to name suppression laws, we can’t go into more detail about ‘prominent figure’ and active court proceedings involving abuse of underage children—but you would think the political party involved would be much more sensitive to the risks here.
