in procreate, is there a quicker way to fill in inked lines for color? so far I've just been manually painting in the fill. the "automatic" selection feature doesn't seem to be intelligent, and will fail with a pixel-sized hole.

If you drag your colour into the area you want to fill, you can then slide left or right to change how sensitively it fills. But most of the time that small gap is all it takes to fill the whole canvas, so it's worth thickening the lines where you suspect the hole and trying again

Oh, dang, that's kind of disappointing. Easy fills was one of the things that made me want to try procreate, but I guess they make it look easier than it is in practice.

I usually fill in the negative space on a seperate layer, and then use that to fill in the lines on another layer. Its not foolproof though, only works with closed lines :/

You can slide left or right across the screen while filling to adjust the sensitivity of how many pixels constitute a true hole. Not sure if you’ve tried it already though! help.procreate.com/procreate/ha....

Yyyyyyyeah not really iirc. You're gonna have to clean up the mess it leaves. It just doesn't work well with textured brushes at all. I use freehand because unlike in PS the lasso tool is loads easier to use there, you can interrupt the stroke without it closing the selection

I find the lasso tool to be quicker than brushing it. Since the edge is hidden under the linework the polygonal lasso can be pretty speedy.

That's weird. I haven't noticed this myself but surely there must be a gap tolerance slider (or similar) somewhere.
