If Paul's accurate here, you should make it far more clear that messages are stored in the clear, not just in announcements but in-app.

The typical user isn't going to expect that anyone with database access will be able to read their messages, if that indeed is the case.

Only the Bluesky moderation team can review reported DMs, and only in rare & absolutely necessary cases can moderators open DMs to investigate broader patterns of abuse.

Access is extremely limited and tracked.

I think this was very clear from the get go, but there is no harm in making it even clearer. I think the typical user will not make assumptions on the typical user either. But if she can't read the rules, there's no way to make them do that she'll have read them :)
