RIP Anthea Sylbert, the brilliant costume designer of Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, The Heartbreak Kid. ...an early script called for Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton to walk by two dogs humping on the campus, but specified that "it must be beautifully shot." Nichols said he showed the scene to Sylbert and she said, "I know just how to do it! Afghans and lots of fans!" She was one of the greats.
