True, maybe I hold world changing to a higher standard than you. I would call a productivity gain that leaves all the existing economic roles in place (maybe slight resizing) not world changing. But maybe I'll sound like the people who thought the Internet was a neat little toy

FFS there's no form of economic improvement known to man that leaves all existing economic roles in place, or anything close to it. That's the price of growth. You can, and should, have the govt ameliorate the consequences and help the losers of the change pick themselves back up, though..
