I was diagnosed at 57. I think ADHD was in the DSM—maybe. I can look back and absolutely see symptoms no one realized were symptoms. I understand the tendency to discount something that seems to be a trendy diagnosis. But those symptoms led a lot of self-loathing and insecurity. It’s real, folks.
