Oof. Within 6 months of getting our current dog she ate all the tassles off a $15 blanket that required a $5000 intestine clean out. Love may be blind, but not cheap

If it's any consolation, it generally passes by the time they're 1-2 years old. Puppies are just a complete pain in the ass the way young kids are. The smart way to do it is adopt a dog that's already passed that phase. It's just tough because pups are so cute and I like the full experience.

noooo. I don't know if you're an experienced dog owner so please forgive me if so - having their own basket of toys & immediately replacing things they grab with their OWN toys can be helpful af. I get cheap stuff from the op shop and she's never destroyed anything again. all dogs are different ofc
