People with unleashed dogs are always like "Don't worry, he's nice!" I don't care that he's *nice*, I care that one of my first memories was our family dog biting me on the eye and putting me in the emergency room. Fuck right off & control your dog, you don't get to tell me what to not-worry about.

I had a mom (who I didn't know) get PISSED at me for telling her small child they couldn't pet my dog. He's leash reactive and isn't around kids. I didn't know if this kid would be gentle and I wasn't willing to put my dog at risk just to spare their feelings. Mom could NOT comprehend this.
