Huh. This is generally a way to get booted from the jury pool if you say upfront you will apply your own common sense standards? I totally would do this but absolutely did get booted for refusing to agree to abide by… something, I forget what?

I have 100% done this in a civil suit case. The method the plaintiff proposed was nonsense. So I convinced the jury to use mine instead. They did.
