Not sure I've ever seen a Roberts opinion that's so just plain stupid. This is not a case of "routinely" subjecting a President's acts to judicial scrutiny. Unlike civil cases, criminal prosecutions require the DOJ or state attorney general to submit sufficient evidence to a grand jury to indict.

That they never before have in U.S. history tells you something right there. Unless, like his colleagues Clarence and Sam, Roberts is so deep into the internet conspiracy comments that he truly believes Jack Smith's meticulous indictment is just a meritless smear job.
