WHY. Just WHY. Sure, they fit and you guarantee some job stability because those stinkers are going to CONSTANTLY break because of water damage. Don't you take pride in your work? Don't you want to do a good job?? I don't get it.

I think it is likely a combination of not paying enough attention and (especially on bigger projects) the unrelenting pressure to work faster, faster, faster.
