Seems like two different things. I don’t care who someone is. If they engaged in inappropriate behavior, it should be addressed. That’s honoring my values. But I accept that my political party will not be in perfect alignment with my values. I’m advancing my values as best I can democratically.

When the thing a political party isn’t in alignment with is my right to exist as a trans person I feel pretty comfortable not supporting them. Good for you that you don’t have to worry about stuff like that I guess.
