Trump telling oil billionaires he would gladly accept a $1B bribe to be their puppet president: 1 day story
Biden has lousy first half of debate: Top headline on 3rd day & counting
The favourite maxim of John Jay comes to mind. He was the first Chief Justice (1789-1795) of the United States.
According to his biographer, Jay expressed in private that "Those who own the country ought to govern it."
Perhaps that's an understatement in these times.
Biden agreed to be in the debate. This isn’t 1960 or 1860. He should have ignored his opponents request for debate, or been willing to engage only in written debates.
He didn’t need the debate and he should have known better.
This is all on him.
