Sorry I’ll try again… last post was full of typos! This article is depressing but not surprising. However, I’m a bit confused about the hybrid SUV. Does it mean it uses more petrol when in fuel mode, or something else?

That's the problem with the story - it doesn't name any of the cars involved and so you can't cross-reference with real-world information. I'm fascinated by this 1.2-litre car that uses more than some 2.0-litre cars and the comparative power, torque and vehicle weight figures
