Michael Avenatti's petition for the Supreme Court to review his conviction for extortion of Nike was denied by SCOTUS today. The only particularized information is that Justice Kavanaugh played no role in the decision. Mr. Avenatti represented Jodi Swetnick, one of Justice Kavanaugh's accusers.
