It is worse than that. Today's Trump immunity decision does not even try to ground itself in the text of the Constitution. If it had, the Impeachment Clause made clear that the Framers believed a President *could* be criminally prosecuted after he left office. They're engaged in pure partisanship.

I think that what you are saying and what Alonso are saying are true. He is just venting at the entire system which is true. This whole "our constitution is the best" is nothing but a PR campaign.
