This felt very weird to me too. Emphasizing you’ve really taken your time to develop the criticism when it’s been out 2 weeks doesn’t seem to gel. And that doesn’t even discount the valid criticisms but it’s just a weird way to frame it imo

Im using the eurogamer piece, which was correct and shouted at, as a jumping off point for my criticisms. If you find validity in those critiques, it would be more productive to engage with them instead of getting stuck on the framing. That’s sort of the whole point of the article.
