That is good to know (and ironic!) I have been trying Duolingo to get started in Irish and I agree completely with that - like, give me a grammar. I signed up for a few months' access to ranganna.com, but it's been kind of the same story. I might get their quick guide: www.siopa.ie/en/s-1-books...

I do have a grammar of Irish that comes recommended by my Celtic linguistics specialist friend, and then I went and accidentally left it at my in-laws' in Stamullen 😂 www.routledge.com/Basic-Irish-...
