Probably because they see a weak opposition party that funds the cops they'll use to put down any leftist uprisings (again). These are bleak times.

Idk, “bleak” suggests there’s nothing to do? Im going with it’s infuriating that the confederates want us to lay down and cry for mercy. Makes me want to gut them from their bellybuttons right up to their throats.
