One of my daughters has moved into a new rental home. It’s lovely and $160 a week cheaper than where she was before.
What did the ex-landlord do ahead of getting his tax breaks?
You guessed it - he put the rent up by $50 a week. Fucking greedy parasite.
Downward pressure on rents my arse, #nzpol

Same thing happened to my sister, landlord put in a new kitchen, 40 year old chipboard shelves were rotten from leaks then he put the rent up. Another Bastard.

Yay, good on her! I had $60 increase last year, then $40 just recently…I have responded by moving to somewhere at the same new price. BUT smaller, warmer(double glazing, feels like a luxury),already easier/cheaper to heat. Good riddance freezing old house, leaky garage, convulvulus-infested garden!

Surprising absolutely no one. I'd love to see labour starting a rent tracker overlaid with all of the lies from the nats.

Parasite. Key word in this example of landlord behaviour.
