Fun fact some of you might not know: In Canada's 1993 federal election, our Conservative Party (then called the Progressive Conservative Party) went from being the party in power to having only 2 seats. This is a thing that can happen.

One of the main reasons this happened in Canada in '93 was that the right was split 3 ways between the PCs, the Reform Party and the Bloc. My favorite fact about the '93 election is that the PC party leader lost her seat and had to lead her party from the gallery.
