I am deeply conflicted today. I am now able to win a whole bunch of cases I would've lost two months ago, using arguments that would've gotten me laughed at. I can bring glory to my clients and myself. And it would be destructive to any objective reading of the way the law is supposed to work.

Would this ruling also impact other elected officials breaking the law within the scope of their duties? Of course this case was only about presidential immunity, but it seems like the same concept on which they based their decision would apply to any elected office, no?
