"This can be run 100 times and you'll get a different face every time." This is a very weird brag about this tech. Like, if you're looking to truly fill in a picture, you'd want to be able to replicate previous attempts and improve upon them when you see an almost correct one, right?

That's one of the serious problems with "AI" stuff. It can't keep track of its own work. You can prompt it with "Tall blond man in a suit" and get a dozen guys, but you can't pick one and say "This guy, but change the suit to blue." You'll just get a new dozen guys.
