I’m also told that some zoos give cheetahs an emotional support dog, usually a large and even tempered breed like a golden retriever.

I suppose the danger there is when cheetahs bap you, it actually hurts because they're the only cat who can't retract their claws. They'd make terrible bakers because their biscuits come with knives.
