No. Treason is for an American actively making war on the United States—and not war in a metaphorical sense—or providing material aid to an entity that is actively at war with the United States. It's a specific high bar, and we should keep it that way.

J6 was an insurrection. SCOTUS has rendered, at minimum, comfort to insurrectionists by e.g. neutering 14A Sec. 3 & tanking J6 cases by inventing special powers for Trump. Would you agree it's aiding insurrection? A crime? We need to find the right language, b/c the other branches need to remedy.
