BMW’s problem is that they think wagon buyers in the US are the same people buying SUVs - rather than folks that want a sports car but need to haul people and gear occasionally…. So they bring the wrong models and are surprised they don’t sell. AMG and Audi figured this out years ago.

VW also has the BMW problem, though they would manage to screw up selling a GTI or Golf R wagon in the US due to lack of marketing.

Absolutely. Mercedes has the E Class wagon along with the dozens of SUVs because the wagon buyers are loyal and LOADED. Audi might jack up the wagon height to make Allroads for the US, but they’re at least doing something.
