Happy to see it when people actually sign all petitons, read all the small print. To me (European) the US election system seems super complicated

It is super complicated on purpose because the whole system was devised to keep undesirables out of it. So it's pasted together at the seams from where we've added new people to the process. Luckily there's no small print for ballot initiatives. It's very WYSIWYG.
