If it were me I wouldn’t abolish the EC as much as bend it by doing things like ordering the VP to only certify under specific rules. Mirror that part of the J6 plan as much as possible and highlight that.

When the impeachment happens hammer on the fact that the senate already declined to convict a POTUS for this. Talk about Biden wanting the outcome to follow the popular vote not just Trump wins. Say a real free and fair election a LOT. If the Democrats can’t pull it off then they really are useless
