The way some members of the British public and press treat the England team- if I was a player I wouldn't want to give them any joy and satisfaction. Aware not probably the view of the players themselves but what a disgraceful way to treat your team.

I think pundits (esp. ex-players) on TV have to take a lot of responsibility. They set the tone for a lot of the commentary and public reaction, and they of all people should know what it's like to compete in these tournaments, the pressure the players and staff are under.
