It will never stop until we as a collective decide that it is a death sentence both socially & career-wise across the board. I think one of the hardest hurdles is for us as individuals to turn our backs. Because it often means surgically removing a part of ourselves.

I don’t think that victimizers aren’t doing the societal math when they do this stuff. They know we doubt victims. They know we offer them second chances.

Word. Gaiman's stuff was formative for me at a very vulnerable time in my life. I grew out of reading him but the TV shows got my attention again. I got some work to do now.
