"Concentrate on the normies" is often a smart strategy; the problem here is the assumption that the Biden campaign to date has been super far left, as though they've been airing millions of ads about EVs or something. But the Biden campaign is already pretty normie-focused!

Fox and Rs have gotten the mantle hung on Biden that he is some kind of a useful idiot of the far left—which is bizarre on two grounds. First, there is no ‘far left’ in Dem Party, I mean Bernie and Warren??? And second, name anything they’ve gotten the Biden administration to do. Let alone DSA.

Important question is: do methods Blueprint use actually give good evidence specific centrist messages are effective? They say theyre aiming to counter effects of pollsters who just confirm what funders want to hear, but you don’t solve that by instead confirming what centrist funders want to hear
