When collecting books is a hobby sometimes you find the unexpected. I found this holograph manuscript poem by Anna Seward written in her hand bound inside a copy of Goethe’s ‘The Sorrows of Werter’ published in 1801. The book is embossed with Scottish publisher Archibald Constable’s seal (a repost).
